Three Peaks Yacht Race starts in Barmouth, visits Whitehaven Marina, from where the team members cycle/run to the top of Scafell Pike, before the yachts set sail on to Fort William for the final leg of this epic challenge.

Veterans’ Parade & Air Display, Whitehaven, Sunday 27 June 2010
The Parade will celebrate and honour servicemen past and present, and will also mark the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II. Current serving members of the armed forces will accompany the veterans as they parade to Whitehaven harbour along with military bands.
